Cat Office Playground
Dave and Gemma were looking for a way to combine their office space with a cat playground for Chubbs and Tubbs, whilst also offering functional storage units. We custom designed and built a solution following their brief that is not only stylish and high quality, but provides an engaging and spacious exercise environment with comfortable rest areas.
Hard-wearing natural sisal carpet is inlaid into the furniture at all the vertical access points, and also along all the upper horizontal surfaces. This allows the cats to climb with ease and also have ownership of the new space by scratching and rubbing their scent into the material. Having the carpet inlaid into the furniture gives the whole project a much higher quality appearance, allowing the room to be stylish yet cat friendly.
Storage for the CD collection was an essential part of the brief. This unique design provides the storage required coupled with the walkway and access shelf for the cats.
